The first week of Ladies Hockey after previous attempts to play were thwarted by floods got under way on the 18^th of October. After a tight first half Christchurch Ladies overcame Carlton Park to win 6-3 and momentarily go top of the table! Ipswich School put out a strong side, and gained back to back victories, firstly 8-2 against IES B, and 7-3 against Carlton Park. The final match of the evening saw Christchurch beat IES B 6-0.

Fixtures for Ladies Week 2 on the 1^st of November are:
19:00   Grasshoppers -v- IES B
19:45   Lowestoft -v- Colchester
20:30   IES B -v- Colchester
21:15   Lowestoft -v- Grasshoppers

Week 2 of the Men’s league had it’s highs and lows, the highs would be Ipswich’s superb performances to defeat Ipswich School 12-3, and Felixstowe 10-0. Despite the score line’s both matches were close to begin with, especially in the Felixstowe match where chance were being created at both ends, but Ipswich throughout the evening were clinical in front of goal. The lows were Woodbridge School failing to field a side for their 2^nd game against Ipswich School, which was awarded to Ipswich School as a 5-0, 1point deduction to Woodbridge School & a fine. Woodbridge however did play against Felixstowe which they lost 3-6.

So as it stands Felixstowe are top with 9 points from 4 games, but Ipswich are chasing them with their 100% record.
